Marriott Foundation Progress Report

Bridges from School to Work Program

Since 1989, Bridges From School to Work has been connecting employers to a frequently overlooked source of capable entry-level workers: youth with disabilities. Bridges From School to Work is the centerpiece of the Marriott Foundation for People with Disabilities, a not-for-profit established with a founding grant and ongoing core support from the family of J. Willard Marriott.

Recently, the organization partnered with Impact and VIVO Design to help them create their first progress report—a succinct, but colorful, briefing that would inform supporters and participants about its accomplishments. The report communicates important financial information, but it also showcases some of the enthusiastic and inspiring young people who are part of the Bridges story.

Over the years, Bridges has helped more than 18,000 of these urban youth, providing them with invaluable workplace training and guidance that enables them to successfully enter and stay in the workplace. Impact is proud to have helped this organization change lives.
