CyberSPNS Bulletin Series

HRSA’s Special Projects of National Significance

The CyberSPNS Bulletin, also known as the “What’s Going on @SPNS” Bulletin, is issued quarterly and features updates and findings from the innovative research initiatives funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA’s) HIV/AIDS Bureau’s Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) program. SPNS initiatives fund grantees from around the country to conduct demonstration projects investigating innovative approaches to providing care and treatment to the people living with HIV/AIDS who are hardest hit by the epidemic. Impact conducts research and interviews of grantees and HRSA project officers to write investigative bulletins about the progress of these initiatives, and we also design and help publish these bulletins to the SPNS community.

CyberSPNS Bulletins have featured topics including using peers to engage and retain people of color into care, defeating stigma and isolation for homeless and transgender people, and affirming cultural diversity through culturally competent care.
